308 and two: Caleb Williams beat the Patriots, and every Bears touchdown came off the Bears spot's hit list on 2026 Topps Flagship Football
Caleb Williams threw for 308 yards and two TDs as the Bears beat the Patriots 30–24. Luther Burden, Colston Loveland and D'Andre Swift scored the touchdowns, and all three have a hit on the Chicago spot in CSL's Hobby-only 2026 Topps Flagship Football paper rip.
Lead
Caleb Williams threw for 308 yards and two touchdowns Thursday night as the Bears beat Drake Maye and the Patriots 30–24 at Soldier Field. He went 22 of 33 (AP) with a 116.7 rating (ChicagoBears.com) in his second game back from a hamstring injury that cost him three games. Per AP, he's the first Bears quarterback over 300 yards in consecutive games since Mitch Trubisky in 2018. Chicago is 5–2, with four wins in five games.
Luther Burden III did his damage early: 4 catches, 130 yards, one TD, all in the first half (ChicagoBears.com), including a 58-yard catch-and-run to the New England 4 and a 24-yard screen that he took to the end zone. Ben Johnson on the screen: "He saw a little crease and hit the jets." Williams gave the credit away: "I didn't do anything. I just threw a good ball and O-linemen, wide receivers blocking, that's who we are, that's our identity."
Here's the card hook. Chicago scored three touchdowns: Swift's 4-yard run, Burden's 24-yard screen and Colston Loveland's 12-yard catch out of halftime. All three scorers have a hit on the Chicago Bears spot in Chrome Spot Lab's 2026 Topps Flagship Football break, and so does the quarterback who threw two of them.
Why the Bears spot
On CSL's 2026 Topps Flagship Football Hobby break (tff26-hobby-12), you claim one of 32 NFL team spots and run a modeled paper rip. The Bears are a spread-the-ink spot. If you want one quarterback carrying a team's chase, that's the Patriots lane (our Maye Patriots lane). Chicago is the board where last night's whole scoring sheet has a hit.
The count backs it up: 9 hits (7 autos + 2 relics) on the Bears spot, against a 32-team average of about 6.9. The Patriots have 6 (4 autos + 2 relics). Only the Jets and Steelers, at 11 each, carry more.
One honest note on Loveland: his hit is the NFL Material relic, not an auto. Flagship has no Loveland signature.

Base and Golden Mirror only: Jaylon Johnson #38, Joe Thuney #213, the team card #271, and Topps-tagged Rookies Dillon Thieneman #350, Logan Jones #359 and Zavion Thomas #367. Loveland's base is #270.
The Patriots twist. New England's touchdowns mostly came from base-only rows. Rhamondre Stevenson (5/93 and a TD, per AP) is base/GM #141, and rookie tight end Eli Raridon, who caught a 30-yard TD, is #369 (Topps prints "Rookie"). Maye's 7-yard TD run is the exception: he carries vet auto #136 and relic NFLM-DM.
CSL's published book for every Bears and Patriots row is still a rough yellow floor with no cited sales behind it, so read this as chase feel, not a forecast.
Context under the feel (receipted only)
Santos opened the scoring with a 43-yarder, Swift's run made it 10–0, and Burden's screen put Chicago up 20–7 with :14 left in the half. Stevenson answered on the last play of the half with a 48-yard catch-and-run, and Loveland broke a tackle and powered through three defenders to make it 27–14. Raridon's TD cut it to 27–21. Cairo Santos then hit a career-long 58-yard field goal (ChicagoBears.com; AP adds it matched the franchise record) for a 30–21 lead with 1:34 left. Odunze, whose three 21-yard catches came on two fourth-quarter drives, recovered the onside kick after New England's late field goal.
Maye finished 24 of 31 for 321 yards, two TD passes and one interception, plus the rushing score (ChicagoBears.com).
"Three hundred yards and a couple touchdowns is a good night," Johnson said. Williams: "These nights are awesome."
